What is the difference between hypnosis and hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis has been around for thousands of years and is just the simple process of putting someone into a trance. Hypnotherapy is therapy, which uses hypnosis as powerful tool to facilitate change. It is used worldwide. Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis – but hypnosis is not hypnotherapy.
What is Integrated Hypnotherapy?
Integrated Hypnotherapy combines the best of Hypnosis, Solution Focused Psychotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic-programming (NLP) and Life Coaching skills. You will find that skillful targeted hypnotherapy connects people to their unconscious mind in a respectful, yet purposeful way.

What does it feel like to be hypnotised?
It doesn’t feel like you’d expect it to feel! You don’t go ‘under’ in the sense of being asleep or unconscious. in fact, you can remain aware of everything I’m saying throughout the session. You are never out of control and you can move or open your eyes at any point. It feels like daydreaming – and we all do that from time to time!
What happens in a session?
In most sessions we talk in confidence and I may ask you a few questions. We may then do an NLP strategy which will usually involve you closing your eyes and following some simple instructions using your imagination. When it comes to the hypnosis part, you simple recline in the chair and listen to my words and some relaxing music. That’s it! The experience is comfortable and enjoyable.
